Narrowed red eyes were at war with determined blue eyes. There was no way the red eyes were going to lose to the blue eyes and was going to make damn sure victory would be theirs.
“For the last time, Boruto, you’re not having ramen for dinner!” growled the redheaded woman as she glared at the child before her.
“But Karin-obachan! It’s Friday! We always have ramen on Friday!” exclaimed the little blond child as he glared back at his aunt.
“But Niisan, I thought we always had ramen on Thursday?” questioned a young girl with short indigo hair, very confused.
“Shut up, Himawari!”
Karin merely rolled her eyes. “Boruto, if you honestly thought I would fall for that, you have a lot to learn. Now your mother and father left me in charge while they are away and since I am in charge, I am going to make sure you eat properly.”
The mini Naruto gave off a pout while the little sunflower beamed with happiness. Boruto then decided to ask the question that was on his mind.
“Well when are Otousan and Kaachan coming home?”
“Not until Monday,” replied Karin as she turned and headed for the kitchen. “With all that they do, they deserve a weekend to themselves.”
Boruto let out a groan. At least when Otousan was around they could sneak some ramen. Granted Kaachan would usually find out and they would get a scolding, but still, they would have had ramen. With Obachan here, getting ramen would be near impossible.
“Obachan! Can I help you make dinner? Please?” squeaked Himawari, looking up with large pleading eyes.
Karin couldn’t help but let out a giggle. Her niece was just the cutest little thing! “I don’t see why not.”
“Yay!” cheered the little girl as she followed after her aunt.
Boruto could only groan once again as he too followed after his aunt. Maybe he could try again and convince Obachan to make ramen for dinner. He was an Uzumaki, which meant he never gave up on anything!
Of course he apparently forgot that his Obachan was an Uzumaki as well, meaning she would never give in to his demands.

A short one-shot starring Karin, Boruto, and Himawari since there are none because some people for whatever reason think that instead of spending time with her blood niece and nephew, Karin should interact with and be an aunt to Salad. Seriously, what the hell?
Fuck SasuSaku. That pairing is the shallowest piece of shit considering how Sasuke and Sakura acted for the majority of the series. Sasuke should have died or at the very least be sent to prison for the shit he’s done. And the NaruSaku fans say NaruHina was a cop-out? At least Naruto never treated Hinata like garbage or tried to kill her like Sasuke did with Sakura.
