“It’s time to test our magic spells!” exclaimed Callie.
“Magic spells? I thought we were going to take a spelling test?” questioned Marie.
“Ha! When you’re as cool as the coolest girl you’ll ever meet, you don’t need to take spelling tests!” stated Callie as a picture of Ashley from WarioWare popped up on screen.
“Of course who needs to be cool when you can be creative. Creativity with words is what really counts, especially when you send out Swapnotes,” replied Marie as a picture of Nikki appeared on screen.
“Wands versus pens, magic spells versus spelling notes. I think we all know who will win this one,” said Callie with a grin.
“We’ll just have to wait until Splatfest to find out,” said Marie with a nod. “So until then…”

-:-The newest update for Nintendo Badge Arcade was in honor of the one-year anniversary for Splatoon and features multiple Splatfest-based badges. Two of the badges you can get are Ashley from WarioWare and Nikki from Swapnote, both of whom are dressed and ready to splat some ink. So I thought, why not make my own Splatfest?
Much like official Splatfests just cast your votes on which team you’d like to see win; Team Ashley or Team Nikki? Once Sunday comes around, I’ll count up all of the votes and write out the results in the form of an actual Splatfest battle starring Ashley and Nikki.
